Criteria
The Chapter of the Year Award and Honorable Mention Awards were created to acknowledge the extraordinary efforts and performance of local chapter leaders and members. The growth and continued success of SITE is dependent on the thoughtful planning and implementation of important local initiatives.
All official SITE chapters worldwide are eligible to participate in the 2008 SITE Chapter of the Year Award and Honorable Mention Awards.
The Chapter of the Year Award will be presented to one regional chapter that demonstrates the greatest combined achievement in the following categories:
- Submission of all quarterly reports (4th quarter 2007 – 2nd quarter 2008)
- Activities of the chapter
- Membership growth and retention
- Feedback from the Chapter Leadership Council will be considered for the Chapter of the Year and Honorable Mention Awards in specific areas.
Honorable Mention Awards will be presented in the following 4 categories:
- Education
- Special Event
- Membership – recruitment, retention or campaign; based on percentage increases in membership
- Wild Card
Chapters submitting for Chapter of the Year will be automatically considered for the Honorable Mention Awards.
If your chapter does not qualify for Chapter of the Year, you can still apply for the Honorable Mention Awards.
ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 19 September 2008.
Please direct all questions and inquiries to Christie_Pruyn@site-intl.org.
