SITE announces a new program for its members, Run the World, designed to promote health and fitness among the membership while raising money for UNICEF, an international charity.
Leaving chapters in tact, SITE members have been divided into 6 globally diverse teams that will compete against each other as the full membership works to span 5887 miles, the distance from Monterey, California where the SITE International Conference 2007 was held to Montreux, Switzerland, the chosen destination of SITE International Conference 2008. Chapter activities and individual member contributions will be key factors of success.
Teams complete hours of physical and well-being activities that convert into miles to span the distance from Monterey to Montreux. Highlights and rankings will be tracked through December 2008 and winners will be announced at the SITE International Conference 2008 in Montreux, Switzerland.
