SITE Invites Media Representatives to Learn About — and Participate in — Latin American Activities

 

Incentive and travel executives around the world are trend-setters among their peers. As destinations in Latin America continue to gain acclaim and popularity, SITE’s activities and leadership in that part of the world have expanded in parallel.

 

SITE encourages media representatives to learn more about SITE and its programming in Latin America. BTM Chile: At this event, which occurs 12–13 June at the Casa Piedra Convention Center in Santiago de Chile, SITE is sponsoring an education session titled Al que Incentiva Dios lo Ayuda (God Helps Those who Incentivate), presented by SITE representative Alejandro Verzoub. SITE also will host a stand where participants can find information about membership, the Crystal Awards Program and other SITE initiatives.

 

FIEXPO Latin America: If you can’t make the education session in Chile, you can listen to it at FIEXPO Latin America, which takes place 25–26 June at the Radisson Victoria Plaza Hotel Convention Centre in Montevideo, Uruguay.

 

Expoeventos: This event — 12–14 August at the Convention Center Costa Salguero in Buenos Aires, Argentina — is exceptionally exciting for the SITE members in Latin America because SITE President Padraic Gilligan and board member Fernando Compean will participate in the education program’s master classes. In addition, Alejandro Verzoub will deliver two SITE classes and the Society will have a stand at the expo.

 

SITE Mexico: The SITE Mexico Chapter will host two events this summer in Los Cabos. The first, the Seminario Educativo en Los Cabos is set for 27 June. And on 22 August the SITE Mexico and SITE SoCal chapters will co-host a networking function. Details are available on the SITE Mexico Chapter Web site (http://www.site.org.mx/).

SITE Mexico Chapter Retreat: The SITE Mexico Chapter will be holding its second retreat in Chicago before the Motivation Show, 20–22 September. The program is education-oriented with opportunities for networking.

mpc Cancun: The SITE Mexico Chapter is leading educational seminars 16 November in conjunction with meeting place caribbean in Cancun. After the seminar, stick around for the marketplace on 17–18 November.

 

Executive Summit 2009: Plans are underway for this premier SITE event to take place in Guatemala. The Executive Summit focuses on delivering strategies and information about market trends related to the host destination’s ability to attract and deliver world-class motivational experiences and events. Additional details will be available in the coming months.
